Abstract;Significance and use of the GnRH agonist pharmaceuticals widely clinically applied in endometriosis treatment are described. Types and the action mechanisms of the GnRH agonists, and types and characteristics of the GnRH agonist pharmaceuticals are shown. In addition, endometriosis treatment theory by the GnRH agonist and the practice (estrogen threshold hypothesis, add-back therapy) and positioning of the GnRH analog in the endometriosis treatment are discussed.
