| Abstract;This paper presents eveluation of comfort for railway system. Recently the improvement of comfort of rail vehicle becomes more important frow the view point of the role of the railway. There are same new trials to evaluate the passengers' comfort of railway made by the author. The brief introduction of such works which are evaluation method by observation of human behaviour, affordans theory and the use of motion simulator are shown. Moreover the other important subjects to discuss comfort for railway systems are pointed out in this article, such as integrated view point as seamless transportation and fare collecting system.
