| Abstract;To previous reports, we reported the contents on the designing techniques of the wheel tread profile which is designed in conformity with real rail head profiles and results of various field tests. Since the field test results were good, we carried out the simultaneously application of this wheel tread profile in 1998. This paper reports on a results of the investigating wheel/rail wear after simultaneously application of this wheel tread profile. By the investigation, both of wheel and rail do not have the abnormal wear tendency and running stability is well kept after simultaneously application. (author abst.) |
