| Abstract;Recently, environment preservation along railway line is important issue. A floating track bed using coil springs was introduced to reduce ground vibration in Tokyo Water Front Area Rapid Transit line. Motor car running test, and horizontal static loading test were conducted on a 20m long test track. Also, static FEM analysis and dynamic wheel load simulation analysis were performed. Results from these tests and simulation analysis, authors checked deformation of slab, bending angle of rail, stress of rail, amount of rail uplift and wheel load variation. As a result, the floating track bed using coil springs was confirmed to be safe for operation. (author abst.) |
