Abstract;Bovine or human serum albumin (BSA and HSA) bind 2-anthracenecarboxylate (AC) with a very high affinity. The binding of AC to BSA was a series of binding processes involving about nine different binding sites. The bound AC was photodimerized to form cyclodimers including chiral dimers of relatively high enantiomeric excess. (author abst.)
