Abstract;The dielectric constant of supercritical fluoroform is tunable by changing its pressure or temperature. We investigated enzymatic reaction in supercritical fluoroform by using a lipid-coated lipase, which is soluble in supercritical fluoroform. We found that enzymatic activity was able to be controlled, depending on dielectric constant of supercritical fluoroform. (author abst.)
