| Abstract;There are definite environmental benefit in switching petroleum based motor fuls to clean fuels, like Natural Gas. Compressed Natural Gas is now perceived as a viable alternative energy resource to petroleum based motor fuels because of its low emission. In order to encourage a spread of Compressed Natural Gas, it is necessary to develop and to produce Natural Gas Vehicle, and also to install Natural Gas Refuelling Station. Kaji technology Corp. started development of Oil-less Natural Gas Compressor for Quick Refuelling Station in 1993 and completed in 1997. Originally, oil-less compressor should be completed within two years, however, due to several troubles, almost five years had been spent. Now, I would like to introduce some episode that I met during the development of Oil-less compressor. (author abst.) |
