Abstract;ADL and skin lesions of the elderly person are outlined. ADL is the index which represents the body functional decline and the degree of lesions of the elderly person and is classified into fundamental ADL that shows the self-supported degree of the daily life and instrumental ADL which shows the propriety of the higher daily life function. The skin has the role which supports all actions of ADL as the contact point between the human body and the externality. Skin lesions related to ADL are classified into three skin lesions causing the ADL lowering, arising due to the ADL lowering, and aggravating due to the ADL lowering.
