| Abstract;Tumor-related skin lesions of the elderly person are outlined. Prognosis of dermatomyositis associated with malignant tumors and complicated by the serious interstitial pneumonia is bad. Diagnosis of dermatomyositis is possible from the characteristic skin findings even in the unclear stage of the muscle symptoms. Adenocarcinoma, especially the complication of gastric cancer should be suspected, when acanthosis nigricans was observed, and the endoscopic examination of the upper digestive tract should be carried out. Complication of adenocarcinoma is frequent in the Leser-Trelat syndrome, and generally, the cancer is progressive. |
