| Abstract;As the histamine H1 receptor antagonist, levocabastine hydrochloride (I)indicated for allergic conjunctivitis is presented. Features of the drug efficacy of I are to relieve symptoms already contracted, and are of no anxiety of increased intraocular pressure, etc., since I does not have the anticholinergic effects. The mast cell stabilizing action of I is weak and I has stronger H1 antagonism than the existing analogous medicine. In addition, knack of the usage including administration and dosage and precautions for use including the side effects are described. |
