| Abstract;Network resources, which are composed from many links and qualities of services, can be regarded as multiple items, multiple units. Generalized Vickrey auction is known as an effective auction protocol for allocating multiple items, multiple units. This paper proposes the bandwidth allocation system by using generalized Vickrey auction. The system can be used for selling lines, reselling lines, or allocating bandwidth dynamically to users. The effectiveness of the proposed system is also shown with numerical results using the computer simulation. (author abst.) |
