| Abstract;A newly developed operation support system(OSS) for PDS optical access network is described. In order to offer CATV (video distribution) services and wide LAN (virtual LAN) services, this system supports the several NTT network management tasks, for example service provisioning, fault surveillance of PDS optical access systems etc. This paper shows the management requirements, system configuration, and managed objects design based on the characteristics of access network and the services to establish task scenario management of each service. In addition, this paper describes the data base volume taking into account the total information amount for the OSS. (author abst.) |
