Abstract; We proposed a testing method based on a distributed object oriented technology targeting function evaluations of objects. Because a distributed object oriented system consists of many objects that are implemented by their architectures respectively, it is difficult to evaluate their behaviors. IDL(Interface Definition Language) has been paid attention with expectations, because it provides the ability of inter-connectivity between software in heterogeneous distributed environments. In this paper, we discuss the function evaluation methods of objects behaviors as black-box testing by gathering and evaluating of message traces based on an IDL specification in distributed object oriented systems.
