| Abstract; In this conference, there are many sessions concerning standardization. As a chairman of standardization committee of JAMI, the author is highly appreciating all the efforts devoted by many people concerned. Merits of standardization are described in many places over and over. The author, however, is not regarding that standardization needs pure voluntary effort. Standardization depends on how long and wide, developers can have their efforts balanced and end-met. Standard developer should keep in mind that, 1) Standards should not be too large, too small, too early, too late. All in the same time. 2) The aim (use case) of the standard should be enough clear. Do you think we barely made in time for the 21st century, having healthcare information systems as industrial products, not as handcrafted arts? (author abst.) |
