Abstract; We collected the sixty-six university hospital web page and evaluated whether this page has useful information for a fresh outpatient who tries to visit to the hospital. We made some categories for web page rating as follows, lists of clinical divisions, schedule of each divisions, information tools such as Tel, Fax, e-mail or a location map of the hospital. We also checked some other items such as total file size of one page, display size of one page, no photograph of president or hospital building so on. Only three hospitals satisfied these categories and evaluated as the page is usefule for fresh outpatient. From these results, it can say for most author of web page might not think about patient's aspect. We think that the hospital web page must design for the patient. Because, easy to understand web page will help to get new outpatients and helpful to hospital business account. (author abst.)
