Abstract;Polymer dispersed liquid crystal (PDLC) film is used for rewritable marking medium. Light scattering image on PDLC can be written and erased by application of external voltage and heating. The display performance of PDLC film is depend on the dispersion of liquid crystals in polymer film. In this paper, the droplet size of liquid crystal, 4'-Octyl-4-biphenylcarbonitrile, dispersed in PMMA polymer was measured using optical microscope as the function of the concentration of liquid crystal.
