| Abstract;Electrical conduction in phthalocyanine (CuPc)-particl-dispersed polymer layers was studied in the dark and under light illumination. The CuPc particle dispersed layers were prepared by spin coating. Two kinds of CuPc powders differing in the mean particle size and povyniliden fluoride we re used as dispersing particles and matrix. Effect of iodine doping On the electrical conduction was also studied. Both layers containing large and small particle CuPc showed moderate photoconductivity. The scattering of resistivity was larger for the layers with large CuPc particles than those with small CuPc particles. The influence of CuPc particle orientation in the layer on the electrical conduction will be discussed. (author abst.) |
