| Abstract;Thin films of perylene and perylene derivative with various crystallinity were prepared by the vacuum evaporation method changing the substrate temperature. The change in the photoelectronic properties of the films associated with the change in the crystallinity was studied. The film crystallinity decreased with a decrease in substrate temperature. A film close to a single crystal was obtained at the substrate temperature of 50 .DEG.C. for perylene. A film close to amorphous structure was obtained at the substrate temperature of-150 .DEG.C. for the perylene derivative. The resistivities both parallel to and perpendicular to the film plane increased with a decrease in the substrate temperature for perylene and perylene derivative. Photoconductive sensitivity became high as the substrate temperature became low. (author abst.) |
