| Abstract;Working group 1 of technical committee in the Imaging Society of Japan is in charge of image quality evaluation, and has been developing two kinds of test charts as a part of the activity. This paper describes the current status of the digital test chart and image area coverage charts. The digital test chart is that a hard copy and digital data are pairs. Because the original test chart image contains colors outside the color gamut of sRGB color space, digital data consists of sRGB data and CIEXYZ and CIELAB data before the sRGB color gamut compression, and hard copy consists of two kinds of color gamut. The image area coverage charts of the A4 size for toner cartridge yield measurement for a copying machine has 5, 6 and 25% of image area coverage. (author abst.) |
