Abstract; The case oflife cycle assessment shows effectiveness of generation control of refuse by recycling resources from the viewpoint of energy resources. Polyethylene/paper bags handed over in shopping in supermarkets become 285 x 1,000 tons refusal a year, generating 421 x 1,000 tons CO2. When shoppers bring their own shopping bags with them, petroleum equivalent to 2.83 million drums can be saved. Recycling of empty cans and a change in life style to reduce consumption of products will result in reduction in environmental reduction.
