| Abstract;The trend of sludge resource recovery is described. Large quantity of sludge is discharged. Sludge is applied through the following processes: Drying for production of fertilizers for green/farmland, incinerating for construction materials, dehydrating for heat use. In Tokyo, it is applied for construction materials including bricks, aggregate, slag, etc. by dehydration and incineration.In Osaka City, brickmaking and manufacturing of liquid slag are carried out. In Nagoya City, soil improvement and manufacturing of cement raw materials with incinerated ash are carried out. A portable dewatering system for small-scale disposal facility was also developed. |
