Abstract; This paper describes fundamental technique of composting, an effective processing of animal manure, and problems for utilization.Moisture of 60-70% and C/N ratio of 20 are proper. Too much enforcement ventilation results in drying and cooling. Temperature rises to 60-70.DEG.C. due to fementation, which activates decomposition and kill pathogenic fungi. Various equipment to stimulates aerobic fermentation is manufactured. Moisture control, microorganisms to be used, reduction of offensive odor, quality assessment of compost and coordination between livestock and cultivation, should be considered. Maldistribution of livestock and fertilized arable land, and competition with food waste are problem.
