| Abstract;It is necessary for the electric power supply to consider economical efficiency, supply stability, maturity of application technology, environmental problem, etc. and to make a well-balanced composition by various power sources.As solar light and wind energy are the precious domestic resources in Japan where the energy resource is scarce and they are clean energy which does not discharge carbon dioxide, the electric power companies are trying to expand the popularization of them.Here, this paper explained mainly of photovoltaic power generation in major countries in the world, introduction results of wind power generation, challenges to new energy popularization in Japan until now, outlines of the "green electric power system", fundamental viewpoints in the enactment of the system and results of the "green electric power fund" for the general consumer, etc. |
