| Abstract;A hospital therapy program on drug dependency was developed, and a desirable drug dependency rehabilitation program was studied through post-treatment evaluation of 77 patients who received medical treatment in hospital wards specialized for alcohol dependence and their exitus investigation. In the progress of average 1 year and 4 months, 38% showed good progress and 34% belong to the observation-needing group which means no more use of drug at present though experinecing slips, giving 72% in total as showing improvement. In this case, not only medical treatment but also presence of self-help groups like DARC is important, and cooperation and support to their establishment and management are necessary. Participation of many organizations including judicial organization is necessary for initial intervention and aftercare. The results obtained this time were produced by compound factors playing a role in recovery. |
