Abstract;The laminated polypropylene films which consist of biaxially oriented polypropylene film(OPP) and cost polypropylene film(CPP) with appropriate adhesive were heat-sealed by using the heat sealer. The laminated polypropylene films were investigated by mean of differential scanning calorimeter and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy. The results of characterization clearly showed that it was necessary to maintain molecular orientation of OPP and to interdiffuse and interlock the molecular of CPP for obtaining optimum conditions of heat sealing.
