Abstract;Precise calorimetry was performed for (AgI)x(Ag3PO4)1-x glasses with high AgI compositions of x=0.70 and 0.80. The glasses showed glass transition due to the freezing-in of the rearrangement of conductive Ag+ ions in liquid-nitrogen temperature region. Magnitude of the associated heat-capacity jump increased with increasing the AgI composition. The result was well explained by the formation of amorphous AgI aggregate region in the glasses with the increase of AgI composition, and the observed glass transition was concluded to arise from the Ag+ ions in the region. The energetic evironment was also discussed based on the analysis of heat-capacity jump in the glass transition. (author abst.)
