Abstract; An adiabatic vapor adsorption calorimeter has been developed especially to measure hydration enthalpies of various materials including zeolites. Mg-exchaged A-type of zeolites show big ability as an energy exchanger. If the zeolitic water is dehydrated to 85% of the total content, the energy exchange value Q reaches to 800kJ/kg(zeolites), the value of which corresponds to those of modern alkali-ion batteries. Assuming the independent component of H2O, the entropy of zeolitic water is very small even at room temperatures. (author abst.)
