Abstract; We synthesized two DNA conjugate which consist of an oligopyrimidine for binding, and a glutamic acid and imminodiacetic acid for Cu2+-assisted dimerization. Cupric ion promotes the formation of the triple-stranded complexes through gathering two conjugates to make the symmetric dimmer on the dyad double-stranded sequence. The cooperativity, .OMEGA., was estimated to be ca. 165 at 298 K. (author abst.)
