| Abstract;We have designed RNA aptamers that can specifically bind to a small ligand in the presence of an RNA-binding peptide. RNA aptamers to GlcNAc were isolated from a pool of randomized RNAs by selection with GlcNAc affinity column and enzymatically amplified. Isolation of the RNA-peptide complex that can specifically bind to GlcNAc and its cooperative recognition mode for small ligands will be discussed. (author abst.) |
