Abstract;Blood circulation monitoring (BCM)-ESR method to analyze the ESR signals due to paramagnetic species in real time was applied to know the disposition of vanadyl species in the blood of rats, which were given insulinomimetic vanadyl complexes such as bis(picolinato)oxovanadium (VO(PA)2) and its derivative complexes. The results indicated that vanadyl species were considerably distributed to peripheral tissues and gradually eliminated from the circulating blood, depending on their chemical structures.
