Abstract;The technology which recycles the iron by removing zinc from the surplus dust of steel works,was developed.The residual carbon is also utilized as a heat source.When pelletized dust was reduced in the circulating bed furnace and it gasifies, zinc is gasified and removed.Reduced and cooled pellets can be charged in the blast furnace.Dezincification rate of 90-97% and metallization rate of 70-85% of the dust were obtained,when circulating bed furnace of 1300.DEG.C. reaction temperature and capacity 22t/h worked.Energy saving effect by the iron resource recycling is correspondent to 0.4% of all energy consumption.
