Abstract;As a model of artificial receptor protein, de novo deslgned hetero three-.ALPHA.-helix proteins that have a cavity were constructed. Hetero trimeric helix bundles were constructed by conjugation of peptide A having two cysteines with peptide B whose side-chain of Lys is bromoacetylated. In order to detect a ligand binding, fluorescent groups were introduced in the peptide A. The ligand binding was observed by fluorescent spectrometry. (author abst.)
