Abstract;The 1:1 adducts of 1,4-BNAH (an NAD(P)H model) and metal complexes have stronger abilities as hydride donor in the presence of base than free 1,4-BNAH. This is because coordination of 1,4-BNAH into the metal complexes induces deprotonation of the carbamoyl group. (author abst.)
