Abstract;Recently, we have obtained two zinc complexes of a porphyrin isomer, N-confused porphyrin(NCP), and determined the X-ray structures. These complexes have hydroxyl ligands derived from the adventitious water in solvents. In this paper, we describe the structual features of the zinc complexes, and the enzyme model reaction by the nucleophilicity of the hydroxyl ligands are reported. (author abst.)
