Abstract; In order to retrieve target data efficiently from a database which were difficult to be distinguished with specific words or phrases, we are proposing a retrieval method which refects individual preferneces on retrieval resutls by mediation variables. This method expresses characteristics of different data with other data which are related to the data, analyzes individual preferences of users for the data by related data as mediation variables, and evaluates retrieval results by estimated preferences. In this paper, based on our proposal, we design and implement a receipe retrieval system. This system classifies cuisine and analyzes preferences for cuisine by wine types, and evaluates retrieved cuisine list. Thus, the system reflects individual preferences on retrieved cuisine lists, and users could find target recipe efficiently. In order to show the effectiveness of the implemented system, we also perform an expeliment. (author abst.)
