| Abstract;Growth hormone (GH) secretory function tests are outlined. Attentions in the load test execution, and GH stimulated secretion tests (insulin hypoglycemia test, arginine test, L - dopa load test, clonidine load test, glucagon load test, GRH test) and determinations (childhood GH hyposecretion short stature disease, adult GH hyposecretion disease, acromegaly) based on it are described. In addition, tests which evaluate the physiological GH secretion capacity and tests in the case suspected of the GH hypersecretion disease are explained. |
