| Abstract;Prolactin (PRL) secretory regulation mechanisms (drug which promotes the PRL secretion, drug which suppresses the PRL secretion) are outlined. Basal secretion values are described and diseases showing abnormal values are cited, and stimulated secretion tests including the load test (TRH load test, metoclopramide load test, sulpiride load test) and acrinia test (L - dopa load test, etc.) are described. In addition, the endocrinologic identification of functional hyperprolactinemia and prolactinoma is referred. |
