Abstract;Angle-dispersive X-ray diffraction experiments of ferroelectric KDP and DKDP were carried out under high pressures up to 73.2 and 19.4 GPa, respectively. The high pressure phase VI of KDP and DKDP appearing above 8 GPa was analyzed to be orthorhombic, and the volume reduction at IV-VI phase transition in KDP and DKDP was about 13% and 12%, respectively.
