| Abstract;Protonic diffusion process for pure ice at ambient pressure has not been measured due to fast movement of water molecule, which has larger diffusion coefficient by several orders of magnitude than proton. We have measured the protonic diffusion process for densified pure ice at high temperature and high pressure by infrared reflection spectroscopy. The new method for sample preparation was introduced. The protonic diffusion coefficients measured at 10-63 GPa tend to decrease with pressure. (author abst.) |
