Abstract;We are investigating the physical properties of materials using shock compre ssion and strong gravitational field. The MD simulation was also used to und erstand the microscopic states of the materials under the extreme conditions. We performed the MD simulation on an ionic crystal KCl to study the B1-B2 phase transition under ultra-high pressure. The effects of vacancy or disl ocation, and the transition mechanism are discussed. (author abst.)
