| Abstract; Two derivatives of thyrotropin-releasing hormone were evaluated for the effect on gastric acid secretion. Nine patients of cerebral vasucular disease or spinocerebellar degeneration were given these drugs. One was protirelin citrate which administered orally and the other was tartirelin hydrate which given parenterally. Parenteral protirelin citrate showed remarkable reduction on gastric acid secretion, contrastly which were increased by oral tartirelin hydrate. (author abst.) |
