| Abstract;This paper outlined the present status and principle of heat flow meters, direct indicating meters of heat flow value, types of heat flow sensors application of heat flow sensors to energy saving and others. The principle and structure were explained, and measuring object and heat flow and temperature range, portable/multipoint heat flow meter were described. Application to energy saving in various fields were shown mentioned: heat radiation loss of steam piping, measurement of heat insulation of building and building materials, iron and steel, metal materials, transportation equipments and machines, electrical machinery and precision instruments, chemical and petroleum industry. |
