| Abstract;Moessbauer spectroscopy is a dynamic field with applications ranging from physics to biology. About thirty groups of such a field are founded in China for both fundamental and practical aspects. In-beam Moessbauer setup was established in Lanzhou, and the nuclear scattering facility was planned at Shanghai. Some achievements are discussed in this review: (1) Brownian motion in anisotropic media, (2) Applications to archaeology, and (3) Molecule-based magnetic materials. (author abst.) |
