Abstract;Raman spectra from the mixed crystals KNbO3-KTaO3 (KTN) and KNbO3-NaNbO3 (KNN) have been measured to study the behavior of anomalous mode coupling observed in pure KNbO3 under high pressure. The anomalous mode coupling has been observed for all samples under high pressure. The mode coupling was observed without compression for the KTN crystal with Ta atoms more than 40%. The Ta doping played an equivalent role to the pressure effect on one of the coupling mode at 270 cm-1. The Na doping is not significantly effected on the anomalous mode coupling in KNbO3.
