Abstract;Neutron self-shielding effects on NAA of samples containing a large amount of Mn were corrected experimentally by changing sample weight stepwise or diluting with water after acid dissolution. In order to clarify whether different elements had different self-shielding effects in the same sample, mixtures of rhyolite sample and KMnO4 or KCl were irradiated by varying sample weights.
