Abstract;In 1997, we have installed a new generation Tandetron AMS system and conducted successfully reproducibility tests of the machine on the 14C/12C ratio of better than 0.2%, accuracy tests of 14C measurements, as well as 14C dating of various samples with a precision of better than 0.5%. Performances and applications of the new Tandetron AMS to environmental studies are described. (author abst.)
