Abstract;Optically Active Group 14-Element Centered Anions, (R)-t-butylmethylphenylsilyllithium(1) and (R)-t-butylmethylphenylgermyllithium(2), were prepared by use of (-)sparteine. 1 and 2 were characterized by 1H,7Li, and 13C NMR and X-ray diffraction. Optical purity of 1 and 2 was evaluated as corresponding silane and germane by HPLC on optically active stationary phase after hydrolysis. (author abst.)
