| Abstract;The two-electron reduction of cyclotetrasilenylium ion with lithium metal in diethyl ether produced cyclotetrasilenyllithium as green crystals. The molecular structure of cyclotetrasilenyllithium was determined by X-ray crystallography. The oxidation of cyclotetrasilenyl anion is also investigated. (author abst.) |
