| Abstract;We report on the synthesis of acyclic germyl radical without resonance stabilization prepared by the reaction of dichlorogermylene-dioxane complex and di-tert-butyl(methyl)silyl sodium. This radical has a completely planar geometry and three substituents are arranged in a gear-type fashion. Some aspects of the reactivity of this radical will be also reported. (author abst.) |
