| Abstract;In order to make a room intelligent, man-machine interface which communicates the intention of a person to the room intuitively is important. When the gesture recognition is applied to an intelligent room, it is neccessary to specify position of an operator and starting signal of the gesture. In this study, detection of a waving hand by image processing is proposed which aims to construct an intelligent room. Hand regions are detected by using color information and subtraction. A waving hand is detected by using FFT. (author abst.) |
